Parts of speech: 

                                          Words are used for different purposes. They, in other words, perform the variety of functions.

They, sometimes, name person, thing and places and on certain occasions, they are used in place of nouns or they describe things, persons or place. Words are used to describe actions, show relationship and to combine words or sentences. Words may also be used to modify a verb, an adjective or another adverb and too express sudden feeling. 

What is parts of speech?

                                                 Words which are frequently used in speech or writnig are called parts of speech;

They are classified into eight kinds on account of their functions.

1.    Noun

2.    Pronoun

3.    Adjective

4.    Verb

5.    Adverb 

6.    Preposition

7.    Conjunction

8.    Interjection
