                        The history of Asian Games dates back to 1947 when the Asian relation Conference held in New Delhi decided to organize Track and Field competitions among nation of the Asian region on the lines of the Olympic Games, once in four years. The first game held in 1951 at The National Stadium, New Delhi and since then the games have been held s follows.
